Appeal for information on wandering man in Tin Shui Wai (with photo)
Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a man who was found wandering at Tin Shui Wai early yesterday (February 24) morning.
About 5.30 am yesterday, a passer-by made a report to the Police that the man, wheelchair-bound, was seen alighting from a taxi at the Lau Fau Shan Roundabout with the assistance of another male passenger.
Police arrived at the scene and located the man who has communication problem and does not carry any identity document.
The man, aged about 40, has short hair and is of thin build. He was wearing a blue and white stripe sweater, a black overcoat and grey trousers when found.
Initial enquiries showed that the taxi picked up the pair at Sam Po Chuen in Nim Wan and travelled along Deep Bay Road towards Lau Fau Shan before it dropped them down.
Anyone who has any information on the wandering man is urged to contact the Tin Shui Wai Police Station at 2448 5205.
