Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Mong Kok
Police today (February 25) appealed to members of the public for information on a traffic accident in which a 54-year-old woman was killed in Mong Kok on February 19.
Shortly after 8.30am on February 19, a light goods vehicle (LGV) was travelling along eastbound Shantung Street. While making a right turn into Tung Choi Street, the LGV reportedly knocked down the 54-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was unconscious and was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital for medical treatment where she was certified dead at 4pm on February 22.
Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are proceeding.
