Police participate in Education and Careers Expo

The multi-faceted aspects of Police work will be showcased at the Police booth at the upcoming Education and Careers Expo from tomorrow (February 23) to Sunday.

Those who wish to join the Police Force or interested in Police work should not miss this display of the latest information on recruitment and Police training as well as some commonly used Police equipment.

During the four-day Expo, officers from the Police Recruitment Division will be present to handle enquiries and register applicants on site.

Besides, Police officers from various formations including Airport Security Unit, Police Dog Unit (PDU), Emergency Unit, Marine Police, Police Tactical Unit as well as Traffic and Weapons Training Divisions will introduce their work at different sessions and display some of their equipment.

Police dogs from the PDU will also be present at one of the demonstration sessions.

February 23 (Thursday):
morning session - Police Tactical Unit
afternoon session - Airport Security Unit

February 24 (Friday):
morning session - Marine Police
afternoon session - Traffic (Hong Kong Island)

February 25 (Saturday):
morning session - Police Dog Unit
afternoon session - Police Tactical Unit

February 26 (Sunday):
morning session - Weapons Training Division
afternoon session - Emergency Unit (Kowloon East)

The Expo will be held in Hall 5 of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai. It will open from 10.30 am to 7 pm on February 23; 10 am to 7 pm on February 24 and 25; and from 10 am to 6 pm on February 26. Admission is free.
