Man charged with trafficking in dangerous drugs

Police today (February 22) charged a 47-year-old man with one count of trafficking in dangerous drugs.

The man was arrested in an intelligence-led operation yesterday (February 21) at a drug store on Castle Peak Road in Cheung Sha Wan. Some 42 grams and 200 kilograms of suspected ketamine were seized in his possession and inside the target premises respectively with a total market value of $60 million.

He will appear in the Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (February 23).
