Police appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Kowloon City

Police today (December 12) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Kowloon City on December 4 in which a 77-year-old man who was injured, later died in hospital.

About 9.45pm on December 4, a light goods vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man was travelling north along Hau Wong Road. When reaching outside No.19 Hau Wong Road, the light goods vehicle hit the man who was crossing the road.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 1.25am on December 5.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic Kowloon West are proceeding.
