Woman dies in Wong Tai Sin accident

Police appealed for information about a traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin on November 30 in which a woman was injured and subsequently died in hospital.

At around 6.30pm on November 30, a bus driven by a 46-year-old man was travelling at the junction of Hammer Hill Road and Choi Hung Road. When right turning into Choi Hung Road, the bus hit a 41-year-old woman at the pedestrian crossing.

The woman sustained injuries to the back of her head and was taken to United Christian Hospital for medical treatment. She was later certified dead at around 1am on December 4.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic Kowloon East, are proceeding.
