Fatal traffic accident in Lok Ma Chau

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 48-year-old man was killed in Lok Ma Chau early this morning (October 18).

Shortly after mid night, a motorcycle travelling along Fanling Highway towards Yuen Long lost control and bumped onto a road kerb near Ho Sheung Heung.

The 48-year-old male motorcyclist sustaining injuries was rushed to North District Hospital where he was certified dead at 0.46am.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic, New Territories North are under way.
