Appeal for information about body found in sea off Kwai Chung (with photos)
Police today (September 5) appealed for information about a body found in the sea off No. 9 Kwai Chung Container Port last Friday (August 31).
Marine Police found the body of a man drifting in the water off No. 9 Kwai Chung Container Port about 9.40 am on August 31, but have been unable to confirm his identity.
The body is that of a man aged about 75, about 1.52 meters tall and weighing about 63.6 kilogrammes. The man was of medium build and he had short grey hair.
When found, he was wearing a white vest, long black trousers, beige socks and greyish black sports shoes with four yellow stripes. A note was found in a pocket of his trousers.
An initial police investigation ruled out any suspicious circumstance surrounding the death.
Anyone who may have any information about the man is asked to contact the investigating officers of Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of Marine Harbour at 2886 8748.
