Appeal for information on missing persons (with photos)
Police today (August 21) appeal to members of the public to provide information on the whereabouts of a man and a woman who were found missing in Chai Wan and Sham Shui Po respectively.
The missing man, Kwan Yuen-foon, aged 66, left his home in Hing Wah Estate, Chai Wan on August 19 and failed to return ever since. His wife made a report to the Police on the same day.
Standing about 1.43 metres and weighed about 100 pounds, he is of thin build. He has a long face, yellow complexion and short white-grey hair. He was last seen wearing a white underclothes, a pair of blue jeans and a pair of blue sandals.
Initial enquiries revealed that Kwan frequents wandering at Siu Sai Wan Promenade and Shek O area.
Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the man to contact the investigating officers of Regional Missing Persons Unit, Hong Kong Island on 2860 1044.
Meanwhile, the missing woman, Au Bing, aged 88, left her elderly home in Yee Kuk Street, Sham Shui Po on August 19 and failed to return. Her family member made a report to the Police on the same day.
Au Bing stands about 1.47 metres and weighed about 73 pounds, she is of thin build. She has a square face, yellow complexion and short white-grey hair. She was last seen wearing a black blouse, a pair of black trousers and a pair of grey shoes.
Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the woman to contact the investigating officers of Regional Missing Persons Unit, Kowloon West on 2761 2394 or 2761 2396.
