Taxi Driver died in Tuen Mun Traffic Accident

Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in which a 47-year-old male taxi-driver was killed today (August 20).

At about 11 am, a taxi driven by a 47-year-old driver travelling along the fast lane on Tuen Mun Road towards Tuen Mun. When approaching So Kwun Wat, the driver suddenly felt unwell and the vehicle reportedly rammed into the kerb on right hand side.

The taxi driver was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital in unconcious state where he was certified dead at 11.53 am.

Investigations will be taken over by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
