Traffic arrangements for a celebration event in Tsuen Wan on June 30 (with map)
Police will implement special traffic arrangements to facilitate a pyrotechnics display cum variety show in the Rambler Channel to be commenced at 8 pm on June 30 (Saturday).
Road closure will be implemented into two phases:
Phase I
-------
The following roads will be closed from 6 pm:
(1) A section of westbound Castle Peak Road - Ting Kau section between Hoi On Road and Long Beach Gardens;
(2) A section of westbound Hoi On Road between Hoi Hing Road and Castle Peak Road - Ting Kau section;
(3) A section of both bounds of Hoi Hing Road between Hoi Hing roundabout and Hoi On Road;
(4) A section of both bounds of Hoi Kok Street between Hoi Shing Road and Hoi Hing Road;
(5) A section of southbound Tai Ho Road between Yeung Uk Road and KCR West Rail Tsuen Wan West Station; and
(6) A section of northbound Wing Shun Street between Yi Hong Street and Ma Tau Pa Road.
Phase II
--------
The following roads will be closed from 7.45 pm:
(1) A section of eastbound Tsuen Wan Road between Tuen Mun Road and a sliproad heading to the inner and middle lanes of Tsuen Tsing Interchange including the sliproad heading to Hoi Hing roundabout;
(2) A section of westbound Tsuen Wan Road between the sliproad heading to Tsuen Tsing Interchange and Hoi Kok Street including the sliproad heading to Hoi Hing roundabout;
(3) A section of southbound Tai Chung Road between Heung Che Street and Sha Tsui Road;
(4) A section of both bounds of Tai Chung Road between Sha Tsui Road and Hoi Hing roundabout;
(5) A section of Heung Che Street between Hoi Pa Street and Tai Chung Road;
(6) A section of Chai Wan Kok Street between Hoi Tak Street and Tai Chung Road;
(7) A section of both bounds of Sha Tsui Road between Tai Ho Road and Tai Chung Road;
(8) A section of both bounds of Tai Ho Road between Sha Tsui Road and KCR West Rail Tsuen Wan West Station;
(9) A section of eastbound Yeung Uk Road between Tai Ho Road and Chung On Street;
(10) A section of westbound Yeung Uk Road between Ma Tau Pa Road and Tai Ho Road;
(11) Northbound Tsing Tsuen Road heading to the inner lane of Taing Yi North Bridge;
(12) A section of both bounds of Hoi Shing Road between Tai Chung Road and Tai Ho Road;
(13) A section of both bounds of Hoi Pa Street between Heung Che Street and Tai Ho Road;
(14) Yuen Tun Circuit;
(15) Heung Shing Street;
(16) Heung Wo Street;
(17) Tai Pa Street;
(18) Fu Yung Street; and
(19) Hoi Kwai Road.
Motorists are advised to take heed of traffic signs and follow the instruction of Police at scene.
