Appeal for information on missing woman (with photo)

Police today (May 17) appealed to members of the public for information on a woman who went missing yesterday (May 16).

Lee Wai-ying, aged 41, has left her residence in Tsz Lok Estate in Wong Tai Sin yesterday and failed to return ever since. It was believed that she got on a bus heading towards Yau Ma Tei areas. Her family made a report to the Police on the same day.

Standing about 1.62 metres, she has a round face, small eyes, short straight and black hair. She is of normal build and with yellow complexion. She was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt, a pair of blue pants and a pair of black shoes.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing woman is urged to contact the Regional Missing Person Unit of Kowloon East at 2703 2321 or 2703 2335.
