Traffic arrangement for Kwun Yum Treasury Opening Festival
Police will implement special traffic arrangements and crowd management measures in various districts to facilitate worshippers attending the ceremony of the Opening of Kwun Yum Treasury Festival.
Hung Hom
--------
The following road closures and road diversions will be implemented between 4 pm on March 14 and 11 pm the following day (March 15).
Road closures (except emergency vehicles):
(a) Station Lane between Gillies Avenue South and Walker Road;
(b) Station Lane between Gillies Avenue South and Ma Tau Wai Road (except vehicles of residents of Ka Wai Chuen);
(c) Kun Yam Street between Wuhu Street and Station Lane;
(d) Walker Road between Wuhu Street and Station Lane; and
(e) Ping Chi Street.
During the above period of road closure, (i) vehicles on southbound Gillies Avenue South heading for northbound Ma Tau Wai Road will be diverted via eastbound Wuhu Street and northbound Ma Tau Wai Road; (ii) vehicles of Ka Wai Chuen on southbound Gillies Avenue South heading for Station Lane will be diverted via eastbound Wuhu Street, northbound Ma Tau Wai Road and westbound Station Lane; and (iii) vehicles on southbound Chatham Road North heading to Fat Kwong Street via Ping Chi Street will be diverted via eastbound Wuhu Street, northbound Ma Tau Wai Road and Fat Kwong Street.
The public light bus stand at Station Lane will be temporarily relocated to Bulkeley Street between Gillies Avenue South and Walker Road.
All the parking spaces in Kun Yam Street between Wuhu Street and Station Lane; Station Lane between Gillies Avenue South and Walker Road; and Bulkeley Street between Gillies Avenue South and Walker Road will be temporarily suspended from 8 am on March 14 to 11 pm on the following day.
Mong Kok

The parking meters located on the following roads will be temporarily suspended from 8 pm on March 14 to 3 pm on March 15:
(a) The section of Shantung Street between Sai Yee Street and Hak Po Street; and
(b) The section of Hak Po Street between Shantung Street and Pak Po Street.
Tsz Wan Shan
------------
A section of Shatin Pass Road between Tsz Wan Shan Road and Jat's Incline will be closed between 8 pm on March 14 and 6 am on March 15 and a tidal flow system for pedestrians will be implemented if the situation requires.
During the road closure period, only Police and emergency vehicles as well as registered vehicles owned by residents of Shap Yi Wat Village, Mau Tat Village, Kwun Yam Shan Tsuen and Kwun Yam Garden will be allowed access.
Central

Half of Tai Ping Shan Street up to Kui In Fong will be cordoned by mills barriers to facilitate worshippers at 8 pm on March 14. The barriers will be dismantled in the morning of March 15.
No parking will be allowed in the following streets to facilitate Police to implement crowd management measures:
(a) Tai Ping Shan Street;
(b) Upper Station Street;
(c) Sai Street;
(d) Tung Street;
(e) Square Street;
(f) Po Hing Fong; and
(g) Kui In Fong.
Any illegal parked vehicles will be towed away prior to the erection of the mills barriers at 8 pm on March 14.
Temporary incinerators will not be placed near Lik Sing Kung of Man Mo Temple at Hollywood Road and Kwun Yum Temple at Tai Ping Shan Street to avoid causing nuisance to local residents and environmental problems.
Happy Valley

The following roads will be closed between 5 pm on March 14 and 7 pm on March 15:
(a) Lai Yin Lane;
(b) Lily Street;
(c) Lin Fa Kung Street East; and
(d) Lin Fa Kung Street West.
The parking spaces and taxi stands within the closed roads will be suspended during the period.
Apart from the above measures, Police officers at various districts will perform crowd management measures and special traffic arrangements to facilitate worshippers attending the festival whenever necessary.
Motorists and members of the public are requested to take heed of Police advice at the scene.
