Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin
Police are appealing for information on a traffic accident occurred in Wong Tai Sin on February 23 in which a 22-year-old private car driver later died at hospital on February 26.
Shortly before 3 am, a private car driven by a 22-year-old man was travelling along the second lane of Prince Edward Road East towards Mong Kok. When it reached near Choi Hung Bus Terminus, it reportedly lost control and rammed into iron railing on the left. The car then spun around and stopped on the third lane.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the male driver was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was later certified dead at 11.53 pm on February 26.
Investigations by Special Investigation Team, Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.
