Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Kowloon City
Police today (February 24) appealed to the public to provide information on a fatal traffic accident which occurred in Kowloon City on February 19.
At 6.10 pm, a taxi driven by a 43-year-old man was travelling along eastbound Nga Tsin Wai Road. When reaching the junction with Hau Wong Road, it reportedly lost control and rammed into a traffic light post and a bollard light on the safety island.
Sustaining serious injuries, the man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 8.30 am on February 20.
The case is investigating by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West.
