Appeal for information on missing man (with photo)
Police today (January 31) appealed to members of the public for information on the whereabouts of a man who went missing in Lantau.
Lo Si-fai, aged 42, left his residence in Hung Hom at about 7 am on January 28 and failed to return home since then.
Police initial enquiries believed that he might have gone to Ngong Ping area in Lantau for hiking alone on that day. His family members later lost contact with him and made a report to Police on January 29.
Standing about 1.66 metres and weighing about 57 kilograms, he is of thin built. He has a square face with yellow complexion and short black straight hair. He was wearing a dark coloured coat, a pair of light grey trousers and a pair of dark brown hiking shoes and was carrying a black and orange knapsack when missing.
Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing man to contact investigating officers of Regional Missing Person Unit, Kowloon West on 2761 2394 or any police station.
