Duo charged for trafficking in dangerous drugs

Police today (January 21) charged two men, aged 36 and 37, jointly with one count of trafficking in dangerous drugs.

Officers of Narcotics Bureau arrested the duo last night (January 20) onboard a private car outside Sheung Shui Town Centre on Chi Cheong Road in Sheung Shui.

Some 15,000 tablets of suspected Ecstasy, with a market value of about $1.5 million, were found hidden inside a rucksack onboard the private car.

Both men will appear in Fanling Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (January 22).
