Appeal for information on identity of a woman

Police today (January 16) appealed to members of the public for information on a woman who was injured in a serious traffic accident in Tseung Kwan O yesterday.

At about 5.05pm yesterday, a public light bus driven by a 46-year-old man was travelling along the second lane on Po Shun Road towards Tseung Kwan O Police Station. When it reached the junction with Po Lam Road North, it reportedly knocked down a woman who was pushing a hand-cart.

Sustaining serious head injury, the woman was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital.

The woman aged around 60, stood about 1.6 metres tall, medium build, round face with grey short hair. She was seen wearing a black and blue jacket, a pair of black trousers, a pair of white socks and a pair of blue slippers.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.
