Fatal traffic accident in Mong Kok

Police appealed to members of the public to provide information on a traffic accident in which a 52-year-old man was killed in Mong Kok tonight (December 7).

Shortly after 8.20 pm, a 52-year-old man was suspected knocked down by a taxi which was travelling along the first lane of West Kowloon Corridor near Kowloon Funeral Parlour towards Mei Foo.

Sustaining serious injuries, the man was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital where he was certified dead at 9.13 pm.

Investigations by Special Investigation Team, Kowloon West are proceeding.
