Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Sheung Shui

Police today (November 13) appealed to the public to provide information on a traffic accident in which a seven-year-old boy was killed in Sheung Shui today.

At about 3.20pm on November 13, a medium goods vehicle driven by a 28-year-old man was travelling along a village path in Kwan Tei Fu Tei Pai Tsuen towards Lung Yeuk Tau Section of Sha Tau Kok Road and the driver reportedly knocked down a seven-year-old boy in the village.

After the impact, the boy was certified dead at scene.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are proceeding.
