Fatal traffic accident in Sai Kung
Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 42-year-old man was killed in Sai Kung this (November 12) afternoon.
Shortly after 5 pm, a motorcycle driven by the 42-year-old man was travelling uphill along Pak Tam Road. While it passed Pak Tam Au and reached near a right bend, it reportedly rammed into a bus driven by a 56-year-old man travelling on the opposite carriageway towards Wong Shek Pier.
Sustaining serious head injury, the motorcyclist was sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital where he was certified dead at 5.46 pm.
Investigations will be taken over by Special Investigations Team of Traffic, Kowloon East.
