Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Yau Ma Tei

Police today (November 9) appealed to members of the public for information on a fatal traffic accident in which a man was killed in Yau Ma Tei early this month.

At about 5.45 pm on November 5, a double-deck bus driven by a 43-year-old man was travelling on southbound Nathan Road. When reaching the junction with Jordan Road, it reportedly knocked down a 42-year-old man who was crossing the road.

Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, but was certified dead at 12.53 am on November 6.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are proceeding.
