Fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong
Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong this (October 14) afternoon in which a 32-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were killed.
Shortly before 2.40 pm, a private car driven by a 32-year-old man was travelling along westbound Kwun Tong Bypass. Upon reaching near Kowloon Flour Mill Building on Kwun Tong Bypass, it reportedly lost control and rammed onto a light goods vehicle which had broken down and stopped on the third lane.
After the crash, the 32-year-old male driver was certified dead at the scene. A 68-year-old female passenger of the private car sustained serious injuries and was rushed to United Christian Hospital where she was certified dead at 3.15 pm.
Investigations by Special Investigation Team, Traffic Kowloon East are underway.
