Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan
Police today (September 27) appealed to members of the public to provide information on a traffic accident in which a two-year-old boy and two women aged 30 and 54 were injured in Tsuen Wan yesterday (September 26) and the two women were certified dead today.
At about 11.45 am yesterday, a light goods vehicle driven by a 35-year-old man was travelling along a slip road of the Nam Fung Centre carpark. When it was making a right turn into Sai Lau Kok Road, it reportedly knocked down a two-year-old boy and two women aged 30 and 54 who were crossing the road.
Sustaining injuries, they were rushed to the Princess Margaret Hospital where the two women aged 30 and 54 were certified dead at 3.46 am and 2 pm today respectively. Meanwhile, the two-year-old boy was treated and discharged from the hospital.
Enquiries by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Terrorities South are proceeding.
