Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Shatin
Police today (September 26) appealed to the public to provide information on a traffic accident in which a 30-year-old man was killed in Shatin today.
At 1.45pm today, a motorcycle driven by a 30-year-old man was travelling along Sui Wo Road upslope. When it reached a right bend outside 5-19 Sui Wo Road, the driver reportedly lost control and fell down from the motorcycle.
After the impact, the man sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital where he was later certified dead at 6.50pm.
Enquiries by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are proceeding.
