Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Hung Hom
Police today (September 15) appealed to members of the public for information on a traffic accident in which an 85-year-old man was injured in Hung Hom and died on September 9.
At about 5 pm on August 24, a light goods vehicle (LGV) was travelling along Po Loi Street. When it turned left into Baker Street, it reportedly hit an 85-year-old man who was crossing the road.
After the impact, the 85-year-old man sustained multiple injuries and was sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 10.20 pm on September 9.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are underway.
