Fatal traffic accident in Aberdeen

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Aberdeen in which a 65-year-old woman was killed this (September 4) morning.

At about 12.25 pm, a bus driven by a 42-year-old man was travelling along eastbound Wah Fu Road. Upon reaching Wah Ching House of Wah Fu Estate, it reportedly knocked down the 65-year-old woman who was crossing the road.

Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was rushed to Queen Mary Hospital where she was certified dead at 6.51 pm.

Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island is proceeding.
