Appeal for information on dead body found in Ma Wan (with photos)
Police today (August 1) appealed to the members of the public for information on a dead body found in Ma Wan on July 26.
At about 4pm on July 26, Police received report that a dead body was floating at the sea off Ma Wan. It was later confirmed to be a man aged between 30 and 50, 1.6 metres tall and medium built. His first node of right middle finger was lost leaving an old scar.
He was wearing a pair of black trousers and a light brown coloured plastic belt with a golden coloured buckle when discovered. No identity document was found on him at scene.
No suspicious circumstances were detected in the initial enquiries.
Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the investigating officers of District Crime Squad of Marine Port District at 2110 5773.
