Fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan
Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 48-year-old man was killed in Tsuen Wan this (July 13) morning.
At about 2.30 am, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 48-year-old man was travelling along Tuen Mun Road heading towards the New Territories. While reaching near Siu Lam, it reportedly lost control before it rammed into a kerb on the left and sideturned to the right.
After the impact, the driver was thrown out of the LGV and fell onto the carriageway. Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital where he was certified dead at 3.30 am.
Investigations will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South.
