Woman charged with uttering forged documents

Police today (July 11) charged a 56-year-old woman with uttering forged documents.

She was among the four persons who were arrested yesterday (July 10) in connection with a mortgage fraud syndicate that fraudulently obtained mortgage loans from a local bank.

She will appear in Eastern Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (July 12).

Another three arrested men, aged between 33 and 52, have been released on Police bail pending further enquiries.
