Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Kwai Chung
Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 66-year-old man was killed in Kwai Chung this (July 6) morning.
At about 10.45 am, a public light bus driven by a 70-year-old man was travelling along Kwai Shing Circuit towards Tai Wo Hau. It reportedly knocked down the 66-year-old man who was crossing the road near Kwai Shing East Estate.
Sustaining serious injuries, the man was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was certified dead at 3.53 pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are proceeding.
