Appeal for information on serious traffic accident in Sham Shui Po
Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a woman was seriously injured in Sham Shui Po this morning (June 22).
Shortly before 8.20 am, a light goods vehicle driven by a 31-year-old man was travelling along Wong Chuk Street towards Tai Po Road. Upon reaching near Cheung Sha Wan Road, it reportedly knocked down the woman who dashed across the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was rushed to the Caritas Medical Centre and later transferred to Kwong Wah Hospital for treatment.
No identity document was found on the woman. Aged between 40 and 60 and standing about 1.57 metres, she is of medium build and has short hair. She was wearing a grey and white T-shirt, a green jean and a pair of green shoes when the accident occurred.
Investigations by Accident Investigation Team, Traffic, Kowloon West are underway.
