Appeal for information on abandoned boy
Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a boy who was found abandoned in Mong Kok last evening (April 27).
At about 10.45 pm, a woman made a report to the Police claiming that she saw a boy lying on the bench of a park at the junction of Boundary Street and Tai Kok Tsui Road in Mong Kok. No identity document except a piece of paper stating that the boy was suffering from a disease was found on him.
The boy, aged about two, is about 0.8 metres tall. He is of thin build, has thick eyebrows, big eyes and with dark complexion. He was wearing a yellow vest, a long-sleeve blue and white checkers shirt and a pair of yellow trousers when found.
The boy was now admitted in Kwong Wah Hospital and the case was taken over by officers of the District Investigation Team of Mong Kok.
Police urge anyone who knows the boy or the whereabouts of his parents or relatives to contact the duty officers of Mong Kok Police Station at 2398 6329.
