Homicide in Sham Shui Po
Police are investigating a homicide case in which a 37-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman died in Sham Shui Po last night (March 13).
At about 8.30 pm, Police received a report of wounding at a unit on No. 129 Yee Kuk Street, Sham Shui Po. Police sped to the scene and located two women and a man, aged 33 - 65, who were injured at the scene.
The man and the woman, aged 37 and 33 respectively, sustained chop wounds to their abdomen while the 65-year-old woman who is the mother of the 33-year-old woman, was injured in her arm. All of them were rushed to Caritas Medical Centre where the 37-year-old man and the 33-year-old woman were certified dead later.
Initial enquiries revealed that at about 3.30 pm, a man, aged about 40, entered the unit and tied up the 65-year-old woman.
At about 8.30 pm, the 33-year-old woman and her 37-year-old boy friend returned to the unit and were chopped by the man who had been staying inside the unit. The culprit fled the scene afterwards.
The motive of the attack is still under investigation.
Enquiries by District Crime Squad of Sham Shui Po are proceeding.
