The Regional Crime Prevention Office of New Territories North (NTN) and the MTR Corporation Limited (MTR) jointly held the “NTN New Year Anti-deception Day” on January 19. Force members, together with the staff of MTR and members of various District Fight Crime Committees, distributed anti-deception promotion items to passengers at Light Rail Transit (LRT) stations and bus stops of MTR Shuttle Buses in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Tai Po to promote anti-deception messages. In addition, for two weeks from January 19 onward, MTR would help the Force broadcast at LRT stations and on MTR Shuttle Buses the anti-deception voice clips of actor/actress Sit Ka-yin, Tsang Chi-wai and Lam Suk-man, as well as singer Gigi Yim, which were recorded for Anti-Deception Coordination Centre to remind passengers against deception.
