To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Chinese People’s Police Day on January 10, as well as to enhance officers’ knowledge of national security, the National Security Department (NSD) has organised the “NS Express National Security Exhibition” on the ground floor of the New Teaching Block at the School of Foundation Training of the Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) tentatively for six months. Accompanied by Director of HKPC Cheung Ching, Deputy Commissioner (National Security) Lau Chi-wai officiated at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
The exhibition imitates a train compartment of the Express Rail Link and a platform. National security shares similarities with the Express Rail Link, which connects the Mainland with Hong Kong and is closely linked to people’s daily lives. The exhibition covers the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China, the Basic Law and the Hong Kong National Security Law. The “NSmart Quiz” is also available at the exhibition. After completing the quiz, participants can receive a NSD souvenir from the dispenser. Officers are welcome to visit the exhibition to enhance their understanding of national security.
