The new KE HICOM not only provides an excellent workplace for officers discharging commanding duties, but also strengthens the operational coordination between various units within and outwith KE Region, giving the best readiness for the Force to cope with new challenges arising from the rapid development of Kowloon East area.
KE Regional Commander Lui Kam-ho attributed the successful completion of the new KE HICOM to the concerted effort of KE officers, and different supporting headquarters units, including Communications Branch, Information Technology Branch, and Planning and Development Branch.
DCP OPS also took the occasion to express his gratitude to all KE officers for their unswerving efforts in Operation TIDERIDER and casted his vote of confidence to officers for rising to challenges ahead.
