Two police dogs, Sunny and Zander, have been recruited in the AWP as Spokesdogs.
Sunny is a male Labrador Retriever whereas Zander is a male Springer Spaniel. Their sense of smell is more sensitive than other dog breeds which made them ideal as search dogs. Their training, through playing games and toys, takes about eight weeks. Now they have completed a series of professional training and are about to become excellent search dogs. With their additional identity as "AWP Spokesdogs", they will enter the community to engage with the public with utmost friendliness and sincerity, and promote the message of loving animals and respecting lives.
