The Police Adventure Club (PAC) sponsored its members to join this year's Bun Tower Climbing Invitation Relay, which was one of the activities under the Bun Carnival 2017 organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

Four PAC members joined with Ms Wong Ka-yan, the four-year women's champion of the Bun Scrambling Competition who joined the PAC as an associate member through the Elite Athletes Strategic Engagement Scheme, to take part in the contest under the division of government departments, public utilities, commercial and industrial organisations. Other participants included the Fire Services Department and the Civil Aid Service.

The relay took place at Pak Tai Temple Playground on Cheung Chau on April 22. The team members climbed up a 10-metre-plus bun tower by turn to piece up a puzzle showing the Chinese characters of "peace" on the top of the tower. The PAC won the first runner-up after a keen competition. Honorary Vice-chairman of the PAC Mr Zai Tah-lam was present to support the team.
