‘NTS Best Security Personnel Award Ceremony 2015-2016’ was held at Tsuen Wan Hall on 2016-10-31. A record high of 1,063 security personnel were nominated by owners’ corporations, property management companies, security companies and DCs in NTS Region this year. After evaluation made by the board, 533 security personnel were elected for merits, with 7 of them awarded for the honourable ‘Best Security Personnel Awards’ and badges in praising their professional performance. On the other hand, 10 property management companies were awarded with ‘The Best Partnership of Crime Prevention’ in praising their coordination with the police in crime prevention.
The ceremony was officiated by Regional Commander New Territories (RC NTS), Acting ACP Patrick LAIDLER. The awards were presented by RC NTS, the Chairman of Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority (SGSIA), Mr. CHAM Ka-hung, BBS, MH, JP, the representatives of HK Association of Property Management Companies (HKAPM), The Hong Kong Security Association (HKSA), the Chairpersons of Tsuen Wan, Kwai Tsing, Shatin and Lantau District Fight Crime Committees (DFCCs), District Commanders of Tsuen Wan District, Shatin District, Kwai Tsing District, Airport District and Lantau District, Superintendent Administration & Support of Crime New Territories South and Acting Superintendent of Crime Prevention Bureau.
In the midst of ceremony, Acting ACP Patrick LAIDLER, RC NTS, appreciated the winners for their untiring efforts in manning their posts round the clock, protecting and serving the public, and encouraged them to continue their positive attitudes in facing challenges at work. Moreover, he thanked every security personnel for their contributions made in maintaining the law and order in the community.
