Kowloon West Region Best Security Services Awards Presentation Ceremony scheduled in May was postponed due to COVID-19, and finally cancelled in mid-August to avoid crowd gathering and reduce the risk of spreading the virus. The organizer later arranged award winners or their representatives to claim their awards on four days in September.
On the 20th year hosting the “Best Security Services Awards”, KW aimed to promote security and guard services in Kowloon West Region. Over the past years, the event, in which the industry actively participated, received huge support from the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies (HKAPMC).
On the afternoon of October 7, the different yet meaningful presentation ceremony was held, where HKAPMC President Dr. CHAN Chi-kau BBS, JP, KW Regional Commander Rupert Dover and KW Deputy Regional Commander HO Yun-sing presented awards to three gold and silver awardees of “Best Security Services Awards 2019”.
The gold award winner of “Best Security Services Awards 2019” actively assisted the police in arresting the culprit of a “Theft” case at the estate he worked; whereas one of the bronze award winners from the hotel industry was observant and spotted a female “Using a forged Identity Card”. The award winners demonstrated professionalism and passion for their work.
Mr Dover thanked the property management companies and frontline security officers for standing fast at their posts and fulfilling their duties, and working together with the Police when facing the “social issues” last year to protect the lives and property of the public.
