Update on fatal traffic accident in Chai Wan

Police have arrested a 45-year-old female driver in connection with a traffic accident in Chai Wan this morning (December 3) in which a 70-year-old man was killed and a 55-year-old woman was injured.

The woman was arrested after her private car hit the duo on the pavement on A Kung Ngam Road. She was arrested for alleged dangerous driving causing death and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island, are under way.
