Appeal for information about body found in Cheung Sha Wan

Police are anxious to locate the next-of-kin of a man who was found dead in May this year.

The body of the 76-year-old man, Ko Chum-tong, was found floating in a water catchment inside a construction site on Kam Lam Street in Cheung Sha Wan in the morning of May 21.

The deceased was about 1.66 metres tall, weighing about 60 kilograms and of medium build, dark complexion and short hair. When found, he was wearing a brown vest and brown pants with bare feet.

An initial police investigation ruled out any suspicious circumstance surrounding the death.

Police have been unable to locate the deceased's family members. Police appeal to relatives of the deceased and anyone who knows him or has information to offer to contact the investigating officers at 2746 3308.
