Police appeal for information on Lok Ma Chau traffic accident
Police today (November 12) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Lok Ma Chau last Thursday (November 8) in which a 36-year-old man was seriously injured.
About 7.35am on November 8, a taxi was travelling along Castle Peak Road towards Sheung Shui. Near Mai Po Tsuen, the taxi hit the 36-year-old man who was crossing the road.
The man, who sustained serious injuries, was taken to the North District Hospital and later transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital in a critical condition.
Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North, are under way. Anyone who saw the accident or who has any information is urged to contact the investigating officers on 2675 3411 or 2675 3325.
