Police appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Sham Shui Po

Police today (September 28) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Sham Shui Po on August 12 in which an 82-year-old woman who was injured, later died in hospital.

Shortly after 1pm on August 12, a public bus driven by a 30-year-old man was travelling on Tai Po Road towards Sha Tin. At the junction with Shek Kip Mei Street, the public bus hit the woman who was crossing the road.

She was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital where she was certified dead at 11.58pm on September 14.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic Kowloon West are proceeding.
