Fatal traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok (1)
Police have appealed for information about a traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok today (September 12) in which three people died and two others were injured.
A car being driven by a 30-year-old man, and with four passengers, was travelling along Kai Fuk Road towards To Kwa Wan about 3.50am today. Near the Water Supplies Department building, the car hit a lamp post and caught fire. The driver and a male passenger were injured but were able to escape from the car. Firemen put out the fire but then found three bodies - two female and one male -in the car.
The two injured men were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical treatment.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are under way.
