Police appeal for witnesses to fatal traffic accident in Sham Shui Po
Police are looking for witnesses to a traffic accident in which a 90-year-old man was injured on August 21 in Sham Shui Po and died later.
At about 3pm on August 21, a light goods vehicle driven by a 26-year-old man was travelling along Kweilin Road towards Mong Kok. When it reached the junction of Yee Kuk Street, it reportedly knocked down the 90-year-old man who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital in an unconscious state. He was later certified dead at 2.35 am on August 24.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are continuing.
