Police appeal for information on missing woman (with photo)
Police today (August 24) appealed to the public to provide information on the whereabouts of a 76-year-old woman who went missing in Sham Shui Po yesterday (August 23).
The missing woman, Chan Pui-yung, aged 76, left an elderly home in Cheung Sha Wan Road, Sham Shui Po at about 4 pm yesterday and failed to return ever since. The staff of the elderly home reported the case to Police on the same day.
Chan Pui-yung stands at about 1.5 meters and weighs about 54.5 kilograms. She has a round face, yellow complexion, and black grey short straight hair.
She was last seen wearing a blue green pattern shirt, white and black pattern trousers, and a pair of black clothes shoes. She also carried a silver bracelet on her right wrist with the name of the elderly home marked on it.
Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Chan Pui-yung to contact the investigating officers of Regional Missing Persons Unit, Kowloon West on 2761 2394-6 or any Police Station.
