Fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan
Police are investigating a traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan this (August 15) afternoon in which a 93-year-old man was killed.
At about 3.10 pm, a medium goods vehicle driven by a 30-year-old man was travelling along southbound Cheung Wah Street. While reaching the junction with Fuk Wah Street, it reportedly knocked down the 93-year-old man who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious injuries, he was rushed to the Caritas Medical Centre where he was certified dead at 6.37 pm.
Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic Kowloon West are proceeding.
