Men charged with trafficking in dangerous drugs

Police today (July 29) charged three men jointly with one count of trafficking in dangerous drugs.

The three men aged between 19 and 37 were arrested by the officers of Narcotics Bureau while they were about to enter the Departure Hall of the Hong Kong International Airport at about 7 pm yesterday (July 28).

A total of two kilograms of "Ice" were found from the two men aged 19 and 25 and investigations revealed that the remaining 37-year-old man was responsible for affixing the drugs and arranging the flight and accommodation.

The haul could fetch over $0.87 million in the retail market.

The three men will appear in Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Court tomorrow (July 30).
